New gel and sound wave combo targets stubborn heel pain
NCT ID NCT07480876
Summary
This study is testing if applying a special gel (glyceryl trinitrate) while using ultrasound therapy can help treat plantar fasciitis, a common cause of heel pain. It will involve 80 adults with long-term heel pain to see if this combination reduces pain and improves walking ability. The goal is to find a new, non-invasive way to manage this painful condition.
