First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a smartphone app called Hedia Diabetes Assistant can help adults with type 1 diabetes keep their blood sugar in a healthy range more often. About 154 people with poorly controlled diabetes will either use the app plus their usual care or just usual care for 6 months. The main goal is to see if the app increases the time blood sugar stays between 70 and 180 mg/dL.
