Warm socks vs. the chill: can smart socks keep you cozy?

NCT ID NCT06283771

Summary

This study is testing a new type of heated sock to see if it can help prevent a dangerous drop in body temperature (hypothermia) and reduce shivering in healthy people. Researchers will compare the heated socks to regular socks in 70 volunteers who will lie still in a cool room for an hour. The main goal is to see if the warmed socks keep people warmer and more comfortable.
