Hot chemo bath tested in battle against advanced ovarian cancer

Summary

This trial is testing if washing the abdomen with heated chemotherapy during surgery helps control advanced ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer better than surgery alone. After surgery, all participants receive standard chemotherapy followed by a maintenance drug. The study aims to see if this one-time heated treatment helps keep the cancer from returning for a longer period.
