Scientists test how hot weather and exercise strain pregnant bodies and unborn babies
NCT ID NCT07326176
Summary
This study aimed to understand how heat and physical work affect pregnant women and their developing babies. Twenty-four healthy pregnant women completed different 3-hour sessions that combined warm or normal temperatures with light or moderate walking. Researchers measured the mothers' and babies' heart rates and blood flow to see how they responded to these conditions.
