Warm compress and massage: a gentle path to Post-Surgery comfort?

NCT ID NCT07208955

Summary

This study is testing whether applying a warm compress and giving an abdominal massage can help patients recover after hip fracture surgery. Researchers want to see if these simple, non-drug treatments can improve how the gut works and boost a patient's sense of mental well-being. The study involves 75 adults who have had hip surgery and will compare those who receive the treatments to those who do not.
