Scientists test how heat waves impact diabetes management during workouts
NCT ID NCT07341243
Summary
This study aims to understand how exercising in hot weather affects blood sugar levels in people with type 1 diabetes. Researchers will compare blood sugar changes during and after exercise in normal (20°C) versus hot (40°C) conditions. The findings could help people with diabetes better manage their condition during summer activities or in warm climates.
