Scientists put athletes in Sauna-Like chambers to test heat limits
NCT ID NCT07307391
Summary
This study aimed to understand how the bodies of semi-professional athletes respond to exercise in different types of hot weather. Researchers had six athletes walk and jog in a controlled lab set to very hot, dry conditions and very hot, humid conditions. They measured things like heart rate, body temperature, and sweat to learn how athletes cope with heat stress.
