Summary
This study aimed to understand how extreme heat waves and air pollution affect people with asthma and COPD. Researchers in Turkey followed 96 patients, measuring their lung function and symptoms during normal weather and again during heat waves. The goal was to gather evidence on how these environmental factors impact disease control and quality of life.
