Could a simple test replace risky heart biopsies for transplant patients?

NCT ID NCT06656065

Summary

This study is testing a new measurement called IMR to see if it can help doctors monitor heart transplant patients. The goal is to see if this measurement can safely reduce the number of invasive heart biopsies patients need, especially in the first year after transplant. Researchers will follow 100 patients to see if IMR readings can predict problems and help guide treatment decisions.
