Tiny blood molecules could predict heart transplant trouble in kids

Summary
This study aims to find small molecules in the blood, called microRNAs, that can help doctors understand the immune system of children after a heart transplant. By tracking these molecules, researchers hope to predict which children are at risk for infection or organ rejection. The study will involve 150 children and follow them for at least one year after their transplant.
