Scientists test which workout makes your heart work smarter, not harder

NCT ID NCT07485400

Summary

This study aims to find out which of two common exercise training methods is better for improving heart efficiency in people recovering from heart disease. Researchers will compare steady, moderate cycling with interval training (alternating harder and easier periods) in 48 participants enrolled in a standard cardiac rehabilitation program. The main goal is to see which approach helps the heart work more efficiently during exercise, potentially leading to better long-term health outcomes.
