Can anemia treatment help a thickened heart in kidney patients?
NCT ID NCT07380893
Summary
This study aims to understand how common heart thickening is in people with chronic kidney disease. Researchers will also observe whether a standard treatment for anemia (erythropoietin therapy) has any effect on reducing this heart thickening over six months. The study will involve 100 patients and is observational, meaning it watches what happens during normal care without testing a new treatment.
