Heart zaps to stop fainting: which method works best?

NCT ID NCT07162740

Summary

This study aims to find out which of two heart nerve ablation procedures is better at preventing fainting spells caused by the heart briefly stopping. It will compare a simpler procedure that treats only the right side of the heart to a more extensive one that treats both sides. Researchers will track 50 adults with this condition using a small implanted heart monitor to see which method more effectively reduces these dangerous pauses.
