Summary
This study aims to see how well a heart surgeon's quick visual check of the heart's pumping strength during surgery matches up with a detailed ultrasound scan. It will involve 70 adults undergoing planned heart surgery. The goal is to understand if the surgeon's experienced eye is a reliable tool for making critical decisions when taking a patient off the heart-lung machine.
