New Beating-Heart procedure offers hope for Hard-to-Treat heart condition

Summary
This study tests a new surgical technique for people with a type of thickened heart muscle (nonobstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy) that causes severe symptoms like chest pain and shortness of breath. The surgery is done on a beating heart through a small cut in the chest. The goal is to see if it safely improves heart function and quality of life. About 100 adults with severe symptoms despite medication will take part.
