New filter test aims to calm Kids' bodies after heart surgery

Summary
This study will compare two different ways to filter a child's blood during heart surgery using a heart-lung machine. Researchers want to see which method is better at reducing harmful inflammation that can happen after surgery. They will measure inflammation levels in about 100 children under age 5 having heart surgery.
