Better vision for heart stents: can new imaging tech prevent repeat blockages?
NCT ID NCT07297641
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to guide a repeat procedure when a previously placed heart stent gets blocked again. It will compare using standard X-ray images (angiography) against more detailed internal imaging (IVUS) to see which method leads to better long-term results for patients. The goal is to improve how doctors manage this common complication and reduce the risk of future heart problems.
