Pressure test could improve heart stent results

NCT ID NCT02797561

Summary

This study is testing if using a special pressure wire to guide stent placement in heart arteries with two blockages (tandem lesions) leads to better patient outcomes. It will enroll 1,000 participants who have these specific blockages. The main goal is to see if this guided approach reduces future heart problems like heart attacks or the need for repeat procedures.
