First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 19, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study is tracking the long-term performance of a very small stent (a tiny mesh tube) used to prop open narrowed arteries in the hearts and major blood vessels of newborns, infants, and small children. It will follow 100 patients for up to 5 years after their procedure to see how well the stent works and how safe it is in real-world use. The goal is to gather more information on using this device to treat conditions like narrowed pulmonary arteries or aortic coarctation.
