Summary
This study compares two imaging methods doctors use during heart stent procedures for complex artery blockages. Researchers want to see if using ultrasound inside the artery (IVUS) leads to better long-term results than traditional X-ray imaging (angiography). The trial involves 2020 patients across Europe who will be followed for at least two years to track heart-related complications.
