New scans aim to pinpoint heart scar for safer, targeted radiation therapy

NCT ID NCT06938074

Summary

This study is testing new MRI and CT scan methods to better see the scar tissue in the heart that causes dangerous, rapid heartbeats (ventricular tachycardia). Researchers want to see if these improved scans can help doctors more accurately plan a non-invasive radiation treatment called cardiac radioablation. The goal is to create better treatment plans that target the scar safely and effectively.
