Massive 15-Year heart scan study seeks death risk clues

NCT ID NCT07191574

Summary

This study looked back at data from over 5,500 people with known or suspected heart disease to see if a special type of heart MRI scan can predict their long-term risk of dying from any cause. The scan, which uses a medication to stress the heart, checks for areas with poor blood flow. Researchers want to know if finding these areas is linked to a higher risk of death, and if treatments based on the scan results can lower that risk.
