Scientists search for hidden clues in blood to explain higher heart risk

NCT ID NCT06769347

Summary

This study aims to understand why healthy adults of South Asian origin have a higher risk of heart disease compared to those of European origin. Researchers will collect blood samples from 120 healthy volunteers to examine their blood vessel repair cells. The goal is to see if differences in these cells exist even before any heart problems develop.
