Silent heart damage after prostate surgery: a hidden risk?

NCT ID NCT06273735

Summary

This study aimed to understand how often men experience heart injury after surgery to remove the prostate for cancer. Researchers followed 1,000 patients, checking their blood for signs of heart stress before and after surgery. The goal was to gather information about this risk and which patients might be most affected, not to test a new treatment.
