New pacemaker technique may protect heart function in rhythm disorder patients
NCT ID NCT07428967
Summary
This study compares two different pacemaker placement methods for people with atrial fibrillation who need a procedure to control their heart rhythm. Researchers want to see if placing pacemaker wires in a specific area of the heart's electrical system helps maintain better heart pumping function compared to the standard placement. The study involves 86 participants who have normal heart pumping function but need treatment for their irregular heartbeat.
