New scan aims to pinpoint troubled heart spots without surgery

NCT ID NCT05772182

Summary

This study tested a new, non-invasive imaging system designed to create detailed electrical maps of the heart. It involved 362 adults who were already scheduled for a standard heart procedure. Researchers compared the new maps to results from the invasive procedure to see if the new tool could accurately locate the source of irregular heartbeats.
