Scientists hunt for blood clues to mysterious heart rhythms

NCT ID NCT07389928

Summary

This study aims to understand if specific substances in the blood (biomarkers) are linked to different types of fast, irregular heartbeats. Researchers will collect blood samples from 200 adults who are already scheduled for a standard catheter ablation procedure to fix their heart rhythm. The goal is to learn more about what causes these rhythms and see if blood tests could help predict them in the future.
