Simple nerve test may predict heart procedure success
NCT ID NCT04503122
Summary
This study looked at whether a simple, non-invasive test that measures the body's automatic nerve system (baroreflex sensitivity) could predict which patients would have their irregular heartbeat return after a common treatment called ablation. Researchers followed 116 patients with a specific type of irregular heartbeat for one year after their procedure. The goal was to gather information to help doctors better select patients who would benefit most from this treatment in the future.
