Summary

This study looked at whether starting cardiac rehabilitation and manual lymphatic drainage during a hospital stay for acute heart failure can reduce swelling and improve physical function. Forty adults hospitalized with acute decompensated heart failure took part. The goal was to see if these therapies help with fluid overload symptoms and daily activity.
