New heart pump tested in High-Risk patients during artery surgery
NCT ID NCT07010965
Summary
This study is testing a new, smaller heart pump device called NyokAssist™ against the standard balloon pump used during high-risk artery-opening procedures. It aims to see which device is safer and more effective at supporting patients' hearts during these complex operations. The trial involves 236 patients with severe heart artery blockages who are undergoing planned, non-emergency procedures.
