First seen Mar 09, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a simple, non-invasive heart test (cardiac power output) can help predict risks after abdominal surgery in people 65 and older. Researchers will compare this test to a standard risk score. No extra procedures are needed beyond normal care. The goal is to improve safety for older surgery patients.
