Summary
This study is observing how safe a small heart pump called Impella CP is when used to help patients who are having a severe heart attack with life-threatening shock. Researchers will follow 350 patients who receive this pump during their emergency heart procedure, tracking serious complications like bleeding, limb problems, and kidney injury. The goal is to understand real-world safety outcomes when hospitals follow best practices for using this device.
