Scientists test new Two-in-One heart pill formula
NCT ID NCT07015671
Summary
This study tested a new pill that combines two existing heart medicines (torsemide and spironolactone) into a single, extended-release tablet. Researchers compared how the body absorbs this new combination pill versus taking the two medicines separately. The goal was to see if the new pill works the same way in healthy volunteers.
