Could a fainting cure hurt your fitness? new study investigates

NCT ID NCT06440291

Summary

This study is checking if a procedure to stop fainting spells might make it harder for people to exercise. The procedure, called cardioneuroablation, works by blocking certain nerves in the heart. Researchers will measure exercise capacity in 100 patients before and one year after the procedure, and compare them to healthy volunteers to see if there's a difference.
