Heart scans could reveal hidden dangers in Little-Known heart condition
NCT ID NCT07351838
Summary
This study aims to understand how specific features seen on heart MRI scans can help predict the future health risks for people with non-dilated left ventricular cardiomyopathy (NDLVC), a type of heart muscle disease. Researchers will look back at the medical records and MRI scans of 1,000 patients already diagnosed with this condition to see which scan findings are linked to serious heart problems. The goal is to create a better system for doctors to assess patient risk and guide care, but this is an observational study that does not test a new treatment.
