Scientists test new MRI tech to see inside hearts and track dye in brains

NCT ID NCT03581318

Summary

This study aims to develop and test new MRI scanning methods to improve how doctors see and understand heart and blood vessel diseases. Researchers will scan up to 5,000 healthy volunteers and people with known or suspected heart conditions, including children as young as 7. A key part of the study is also checking if a common MRI contrast dye leaves deposits in the brain long after a scan.
