First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests whether early, specialized heart monitoring and care can reduce heart complications in people with advanced lung cancer who are receiving chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy. About 524 adults with stage III non-small cell lung cancer will be randomly assigned to either standard care or early heart intervention guided by a non-invasive heart function test. The goal is to improve survival and lower the risk of serious heart side effects.
