Heart watch during cancer fight could save lives

Summary
This study is testing whether closely monitoring and proactively managing heart health during intensive lung cancer treatment helps patients live longer and experience fewer serious heart problems. It will involve over 500 adults with advanced lung cancer who are receiving combined chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy. Half will receive regular heart check-ups and early intervention if needed, while the other half will receive standard care.
