Silent Tumors' hidden heart risks under investigation

NCT ID NCT07316075

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at heart and metabolic problems in people with biochemically silent pheochromocytomas and paragangliomas (rare adrenal tumors that don't produce excess hormones). Researchers will measure blood pressure, heart function, and metabolic markers before and after surgery or other treatment, and compare results to healthy individuals and those with hormone-secreting tumors. The goal is to better understand the risks these silent tumors pose.
