Scientists track heart stress in real time during kidney treatment
NCT ID NCT06526702
Summary
This study aimed to understand how certain markers of heart stress behave in people with kidney failure during two common types of dialysis. Researchers measured these markers in the blood of 24 patients before, during, and after their dialysis sessions to see how the treatments affected them. The goal was to gather knowledge, not to test a new treatment or cure.
