Summary
This study tests whether early heart screening and treatment for iron buildup in the heart can prevent heart failure, irregular heartbeats, and hospital stays in adults with sickle cell disease. About 100 participants will receive regular heart imaging and iron management. The goal is to catch heart problems early and improve long-term health.
