NCT ID NCT07286227

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at how well heart surgeons can judge the heart's pumping strength just by looking at it during open-heart surgery, compared to a detailed ultrasound. About 70 adults having planned heart surgery will take part. The goal is to see if the surgeon's quick visual check is reliable enough to guide decisions, potentially reducing the need for extra tests.
