Shining a light on Kids' heart health
NCT ID NCT01577810
Summary
This study aimed to test a simple, non-invasive light sensor to measure how well the heart is pumping in children and teens with heart failure during regular clinic visits. The goal was to see if this sensor could reliably predict heart function in real-time, potentially replacing more complex tests. The study was very small and was terminated early.
