Researchers probe hidden links between body composition and heart function
NCT ID NCT04822649
Summary
This study aims to understand how blood flow in the heart's smallest arteries and a person's body composition (like muscle and fat mass) relate to their ability to exercise. It will enroll 100 adults with a specific type of heart failure who have chest pain but no major artery blockages. Researchers will measure heart blood flow, body composition, and exercise capacity to see how these factors are connected.
