Summary
This study aimed to find out how common a specific heart condition called cardiac amyloidosis is among older Black and Hispanic adults who have heart failure. Researchers used special heart scans and blood tests to screen 646 participants. The goal was to improve early detection in groups where this condition may be underdiagnosed.
