New Two-Part test aims to spot heart failure patients at highest risk after leaving hospital
NCT ID NCT07345156
Summary
This study aims to test a new prediction score for patients hospitalized with acute heart failure. Researchers will combine a lung ultrasound score with a simple blood lactate test taken just before discharge. The goal is to see if this combined score is better than current methods at identifying which patients are most likely to be readmitted to the hospital or die within 30 days after going home.
