Sniff away heart failure pressure? nasal spray trial explored
NCT ID NCT07375212
Summary
This study aimed to test if a single dose of a nasal spray medicine (bumetanide) could quickly reduce fluid pressure in the lungs and lower blood volume in people with heart failure. It planned to involve patients who already had special implanted devices to monitor their heart pressure from home. The trial was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
