Two common drugs tested as new hope for failing hearts
NCT ID NCT06778330
Summary
This study tested if adding sildenafil (a drug for lung pressure) to dapagliflozin (a heart failure drug) works better than dapagliflozin alone. It involved 100 adults with heart failure and high blood pressure in their lungs. Researchers measured changes in heart pumping strength and lung pressure to see if the combination improved these key health markers.
