New device aims to keep heart failure patients out of the hospital

Summary
This study is testing whether using a special sensor device to guide fluid removal is better than current standard care for adults hospitalized with heart failure. Researchers will track over 1,000 patients to see if this approach reduces deaths, hospital readmissions, or emergency visits in the first month after going home. The study also aims to check if this method is safe and cost-effective compared to usual treatment.
